PIX-ART (Performative Investigations into eXtended and Augmented Reality Technologies)
PIX-ART is researching the idea that extended reality (XR) technologies increasingly affect the way people act, interact, and understand themselves, others, and the world. PIX-ART’s primary aim is to develop a new scenographic theory appropriate to the emerging world of XR.
Since the beginning of Summer 2023, I have been working as a part-time research assistant for Néill O’Dwyer and PIX-ART. This role requires the organization and input of data on AR/VR/XR experiences, as well as production assistance and program testing. I am currently assisting in running a research residency with ANU Productions as part of my work with PIX-ART, exploring the possibilities of merging XR technology with live immersive performance.
